With motorised specimen advance and return and motorised cutting

Micro and coarse advance movements in enclosed housing. Coarse advance electronically controlled with automatic stop at end positions. For forward movement 2 speeds adjustable: 28 mm in 12 or 45 seconds.

Optimum specimen guidance by maintenance-free cross roller guides.

Section thickness adjustment from 0, 5 µ m to 100 µ m in defined steps. ( 0.5, 1.0, 2.0, 3.0, 4.0… … .) Precise guide way and clamping device for knife­ holder with optimum sliding capability and prism guide.

Vertical stroke: 60 mm. Horizontal specimen advance: 28 mm, object orientation X/ Y axes 8° , Z axes 360° . Retraction on return stroke. Specimen size: up to 50 x 50 mm or standard cassette size for cassette holder.

Comfortable trimming function: individually adjustable between 1 and 300 µ m. Fast switch between trimming and standard thickness.

Motorized cutting steplessly adjustable from 1/ 2 revolution per minute to 100 revolutions per minute. LCD display of cutting thickness, thickness during trimming and cutting speed in revolutions per minute.

The operation can be started from the display board or from the included foot switch, alternatively manual by means of the handwheel. The unit includes an emergency stop button.
